What Diana know is that it is an alchemical manuscript that has been lost for centuries and whose discovery has unleashed hordes of daemons, vampires and witches come to light in the reading rooms of the Library.
One of these creatures is Matthew Clairmont, an enigmatic geneticist, a lover of good wine and ancient vampire, whose alliance with Diana will become progressively more intimate and gradually emerge between them a relationship that will shake the taboo settled since time in a secret, enchanted world.
