Welcome Speeches For Black History Program

Since Christmas ...

Virgen de la Estrella in January
/ Jesús Pérez
La Virgen de la Estrella changed his clothes for the holidays. Now, in the next gallery show you how she was dressed the image of the Patroness of Chucena. Of course, now the Christ Child is already in his arms.

Virgin currently leads the procession with all that came out every August 15 before 1928, when he released the green mantle. This is a red velvet cloak and a skirt of white tissue, both with embroidered gold and that may date from the late nineteenth century. The Virgin also has burst, scepter and silver crescent, much more new and golden crown, also nineteenth-century style, which are the parts that normally carries goldsmiths in his dressing room. El Niño, however, carries more new clothes, but the crown itself is going to play with his mother carried.

curious how the Virgin wears the red robe, more triangular than normal. We leave you with photos taken at the Parish Church.
